About the role
Every video on Noachis is uploaded, checked, processed with FFmpeg and served to the feed within seconds. You will work on that pipeline and on the services that put the right video in front of each person.
What you will do
- Build and run the upload, processing and playback services in NestJS and PostgreSQL.
- Work on FFmpeg pipelines for effects, sounds, captions and covers.
- Make the feed fast: caching, queues and careful database work.
- Measure what you ship and fix what slows people down.
What you bring
- 3 or more years building backend services in TypeScript, Go or a similar language.
- Solid SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Experience with queues, caches and services under real traffic.
Nice to have
- FFmpeg or video streaming (HLS) experience.
- Experience with object storage and a CDN.
